Public Meetings Update
On March 18, Governor Whitmer issued Executive Order 2020-15 (EO 2020-15) temporarily authorizing remote participation in public meetings until April 15 at 11:59 PM. On April 14, Governor Whitmer issued Executive Order 2020-48 (EO 2020-48) rescinding EO-202015 and extending remote participation in public meetings through May 12.
Although the current “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order (EO 2020-41) is in effect through April 30, social distancing practices and other mitigation measures may make remote participation preferable to in-person participation even if a stay home order is not in effect through May 12.
Accordingly, the City is planning for electronic public meetings as follows:
City Council | Details will be posted on the City Council page as they become available.
- April 20 | 6:00 pm | Special meeting for the presentation of the proposed budget

Planning Commission | Details will be posted on the Planning Commission page as they become available.
