Troy R.Y.D.E. will begin offering transportation services to the Troy Community Center beginning Monday, September 14th. Please note that the Troy Community Center fitness center is open at a limited capacity and a membership is required for use. Appointments are required for the lap pool and open swim is unavailable at this time. The Community Center is not issuing day passes at this time and there is no other programming taking place. Please visit rec.troymi.gov for more information on current procedures for the Troy Community Center.
Transportation services to medical appointments, places of employment, and the grocery store will still be available. Medical appointments will continue to take priority over other types of appointments. Bus capacity is limited to ensure social distancing. Mask use on public transit systems is now a federal mandate as per Executive Order 13998 and CDC Order 'Requirement for Persons to Wear Masks While on Conveyances and at Transportation Hubs'. Troy R.Y.D.E. passengers that are medically able to wear a face covering will be required to do so when utilizing the transportation service. Additionally, anytime a driver must be within 6 (six) feet of a passenger a temperature screening will be performed before the passenger is able to enter the vehicle. With COVID-19 cases on the rise, this measure is to ensure Troy R.Y.D.E. employees are operating in a safe work environment.
