Citizens Police Academy
The Troy Police Department is hosting a Citizens Police Academy. The eight-week program will run from September 20, 2017 through November 8, 2017, meeting on eight consecutive Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Police Department employees will offer residents and business owners insight into how police officers perform their duties and serve the community. Active Shooter Response for Civilians
Troy Police Officers will teach residents how to respond to an active shooter event on Tuesday, October 17 from 6:30 - 8 pm at the Troy Police Department, 500 W. Big Beaver. Attendees will learn what they can do to mitigate the impacts of an active shooter incident. This event is limited to Troy residents only, due to limited space. Advance registration is required.
Troy Police Halloween Safety Bash
The Troy Police Department will be joined by the Troy Fire Department and Department of Public Works for a trunk-or-treat event on Monday, October 30 from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. The event will be held in front of the the Troy Police Department, 500 W. Big Beaver. Safety lights will be distributed to children in attendance. Please register for this event.
