What Is The Troy Police and Fire Benevolent Association (TPFBA)?


The Troy Police and Fire Benevolent Association (TPFBA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was established by the Troy Police Department and the Troy Fire Department with assistance from other City of Troy employees and community volunteers. Our purpose is to provide assistance to Troy Police Officers, Troy Firefighters, and other City of Troy employees who've experienced a personal tragedy and subsequent financial distress, particularly if it is related to their public service employment.

The TPFBA also donates to the families of local police officers and firefighters who have been killed or seriously injured in the line of duty. As a non-profit organization with a volunteer board of directors, we rely on donations and fundraisers to fund the organization.

The TPFBA will gladly accept donations. No donation is too small and in most cases is tax-deductible. (Ask your tax advisor.) To make a donation, please send payment to:
