The Importance of Green Space
On Tuesday December 5, 2017 the Troy City Council directed City Administration to host a study session. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the process, to determine if Civic Center proposals for redevelopment will be considered, opportunities and strategies for public engagement, and opportunities and strategies for green space preservation. The Parks and Recreation Board conducted a special meeting on January 11, 2017 at 6 p.m. in the council board room to discuss the green space initiative. A subcommittee was initiated and the Parks and Recreation Board nominated and appointed Tim McGee to be the Chairperson of the Green Space Sub-Committee.
Interested in joining the green/open space subcommittee?
Join us on Thursday, February 1st at 6 p.m. in the council boardrooms at Troy's City Hall. At this meeting we will establish a group of approximately 15 residents for a green/open space subcommittee.
