Special Teams

Oakland County Hazardous Materials Response Team (OCHMRT)

Troy has both Firefighters and Police Officers assigned to the OCHMRT. This Team is responsible for responding to and mitigating hazardous materials incidents. The team is comprised of select members from fire, police, and public safety agencies throughout Oakland County.

Communications Support Team (CST)

Troy houses the CST which is an organized team of specially trained personnel whose function is to provide technical support to the Incident Support Vehicle and/or the Oakland County Incident Management Team with radio, data, and video communications. This team consists of select members from fire, police, and public safety agencies throughout Oakland County.
