Troy Public Library June Youth Programs

 

(TROY, MI) Check out these summer youth library programs. From tie dye to Mine Craft, theres something everyone will enjoy!

 

June 18: Summer Kick-Off with Troy Police, Troy Fire and TPL, 11 am-2 pm. Have you seen the hotrod police car? How about the Hazmat vehicle? Or a fire truck? Get a close up look at these and other cool vehicles used by the Troy Police and Troy Fire Departments to keep us safe. You might even be able to hop on some of the vehicles! There will also be a K-9 Unit demonstration at noon! All ages are welcome, bring the whole family!

 

June 21: No Tie just Dye, 1 pm & 3 pm. Bring your white t-shirt, scarf, bandanna, shorts or canvas shoes and create beautiful tie-dye designs using library materials. Your creation will be ready to wear as you leave the Library. Ages 5+

 

June 25: MineCrafts, 1-3 pm. Love Minecraft? Drop in any time between 1 pm and 3 pm to step out of the Minecraft overworld and into the Minecraft real world with crafts and games. Ages 7+

 

June 26: Grow n Learn: A Gardening Storytime, 2 pm. Enjoy stories, flannel boards, songs and gardening activities. Special thanks to our partner, Troy Garden Club. Registration required. Ages 3-5 years.
