Mission Statement

Code Enforcement promotes and maintains a clean, healthy, and safe city through education, cooperation, and enforcement of our property maintenance, zoning, nuisance and rental inspection codes.

Code Enforcement reviews permit applications for signs and is the principal contact for the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Animal Control Appeals Board

  • City Housing & Zoning Inspectors have portable laptop computers in their vehicles, with remote, real-time Internet connections. This means residents can make direct contact with Inspectors, even if they are not in the office.
