Boards and Committees

The City of Troy has a number of volunteer Boards and Committees to serve our community. Volunteers are appointed by the Mayor & City Council. Committees meet on a monthly, quarterly or as needed basis as noted in the Board/Committee descriptions.

Municipal Building Authority

Pursuant to the provisions of Act 31, Public Acts of Michigan 1948 (First Extra Session), as amended, the Authority acquires, equips, furnishes, owns, improves, operates and maintains City buildings. The Authority executes contracts and provides for the issuance of revenue bonds. The five member board serves for three-year terms. City Liaison: Assistant City Mgr/Finance & Administration, 248.524.3330. Meeting: 2nd Wednesday of each month at 12 pm at Troy City Hall
