Boards and Committees

The City of Troy has a number of volunteer Boards and Committees to serve our community. Volunteers are appointed by the Mayor & City Council. Committees meet on a monthly, quarterly or as needed basis as noted in the Board/Committee descriptions.

Liquor Advisory Committee

The Liquor Advisory Committee, established by resolution in 1956, is a seven-member committee appointed by City Council to serve three-year terms. The committee reviews license applicants and complaints as requested by the Police Chief. Information regarding the liquor licensing policy may be obtained by contacting the City Clerk's Office. City Liaison: Police Department, 248.524.3477. Meetings will be held on an as-needed basis at Troy City Hall, and an agenda will be posted on the city website at least one week in advance of any future meeting.
