The 2020 Census is fast approaching and we encourage all residents to complete the Census questionnaire. The Census is a constitutionally-mandated physical count of all people in the United States every 10 years. Why is this important? Because Census data is used to determine not only our Congressional representation, but also for allocation of critical federally funded programs.
The George Washington Institute of Public Policy 2020 Census Report breaks down the total amount of federal funds Michigan receives and how much is dedicated to each program. To learn more follow this link.
